T & L Engineering

T & L engineering is a small family run business set in the heart of Elstow, about 2 miles from the south of Bedford. It has been providing a reconditioning service for the last 48 years with a combined experience of over 65 years in engine reconditioning and machining. Following a fire in 2002 which destroyed the company, it has returned to carry on providing a fast and efficient service.

T & L Engineering staff and a combination of some of the latest machinery available means that they can enjoy a reputation for precision engineering. All our work is carried out in house from white metalling to ally welding. Although a vast majority of our work is cylinder head work, usual engine work such as crankshaft grinding, reboring and sleeving still plays a vital role in the company's services offered. The company specializes in line boring, white metaling, metal spraying and dynamic crankshaft balancing. The crankshaft balancing being carried out on a CWT mutli ball 5000, which to date is the only machine in the U.K.
